Bromfenac

A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory eye drop, first marketed in 2000 in Japan and in 2005 in the United States, used against eye inflammation and pain after cataract surgery. This family brings together the active ingredient, metabolites, labelled standards and other impurities.

Did you know?It is essentially amfenac with one extra bromine atom: that single atom makes it more potent on cyclooxygenase enzymes and helps it penetrate eye tissues better.
