Indisetron
An antiemetic that blocks two serotonin receptors, 5-HT3 and 5-HT4: it was approved in Japan in 2004 to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy. This family brings together the active ingredient and other impurities.
Did you know? The suffix -setron is shared by 5-HT3 receptor antagonists such as ondansetron and granisetron: indisetron, however, also blocks 5-HT4 receptors.
