Nilutamide

A non-steroidal antiandrogen that blocks the androgen receptor, discovered in 1977 and introduced in France in 1987 (in the United States in 1996) for metastatic prostate cancer, together with testosterone-suppressing therapy. This family brings together the active ingredient, labelled standards and other impurities.

Did you know?It is the only one of its class that can slow the eyes' adaptation to darkness, a mild and reversible effect; it was the second non-steroidal antiandrogen on the market, after flutamide.
