Sulfamide
A simple compound of sulphur, nitrogen, oxygen and hydrogen: it is the diamide of sulphuric acid, a white solid very soluble in water, which also gives its name to a functional group in organic chemistry. This family brings together the active ingredient and other impurities.
Did you know?It was first prepared in 1838 by the French chemist Henri Victor Regnault. Despite the name, it should not be confused with the antibacterial sulfa drugs, which are sulfonamides.
