Talmapimod
A selective inhibitor of the p38 alpha kinase (MAPK), a key hub of inflammatory signalling: studied by mouth in rheumatoid arthritis and in the laboratory against multiple myeloma, it showed no benefit over placebo (results published in 2011) and did not reach the market. This family brings together the active ingredient.
