Viminol
An opioid analgesic that also suppresses cough, developed in Italy in the 1960s. Its structure, built on a pyrrole ring, is unlike that of any other opioid family. This family brings together the active ingredient and other impurities.
Did you know?It has six stereoisomers: four are inactive, one activates the mu opioid receptor and another blocks it. This is why the mixture behaves as a mixed agonist-antagonist.
