Timolol
A non-selective beta blocker patented in 1968: it is also taken by mouth for high blood pressure, but is best known as eye drops that lower the pressure inside the eye in glaucoma. This family brings together the active ingredient, pharmacopoeial impurities, labelled standards, nitrosamines and other impurities.
