A ready-to-use 2x master mix for amplifying GC-rich DNA sequences: it contains TEMPase Hot Start DNA Polymerase, GC Buffer II with enhancer, dNTPs and MgCl2, so only primers, template and water need to be added. The polymerase, a chemically modified Taq, stays inactive during room temperature setup and is activated by 15 minutes at 95 °C. It is recommended when GC TEMPase 2x Master Mix I still does not give satisfactory results.
