Additive that gives the reverse transcription step a warm-start behaviour: it limits the activity of the reverse transcriptase at low temperature during reaction set-up, reducing mispriming and primer dimers. Designed for Script 2.0 Reverse Transcriptase in one-step RT-PCR and RT-LAMP assays, where specificity is critical.
