Ready-to-use solution for extracting nucleic acids from plant material in a single tube with one lysis step. The tissue is covered with 100 µL of solution, vortexed and incubated in a thermal cycler or heating block at 65 °C and then 98 °C, for a total of about 8 minutes. The lysate is used in PCR and real-time PCR without further purification; the manufacturer recommends diluting it 5 to 10 fold.
