A ready-to-use 5x reaction buffer that combines the ammonium formulation for standard PCR with a red tracking dye and a density agent. After amplification, samples are loaded straight onto an agarose gel without adding loading buffer, and the colour makes pipetting and loading easy to check by eye. Performance matches the 10x Ammonium Buffer: high yield and less need to optimise magnesium and annealing temperature.
