AccuPOL DNA Polymerase is a thermostable high-fidelity DNA polymerase derived from Pyrococcus furiosus, supplied at 2.5 U/µL. In addition to its 5'-3' polymerase activity it carries a 3'-5' proofreading exonuclease activity that removes misincorporated bases, so amplicons contain very few errors. PCR products are blunt-ended, which makes the enzyme the right choice when high fidelity or blunt ends are needed, for example in cloning, mutation studies, gene expression work and library construction. It is available as enzyme only or as a kit with 10x Ammonium Buffer and 25 mM MgCl2.
